Love your work best tests for CCNA & CCNP

The practice encor exam is tough but not about the right topics. I get questions about PPPoE and RIPv2 when I should be getting questions about inter-vrf routing. I took the encor exam after using the boson exams for two months, and I failed due to lack of ready readiness from taking the boson practice exams.

This is a great way to put finishing touches to your study and get exam ready.

I studied for about a year, and used the ExSim-Max for about 3 months before the exam. Even though I scored 630 – 700 on the Boson practice exams, I passed my test. The question format is right on par with what you might see on the exam. For me, the most valuable piece was the detailed explanations on each question. It goes into great detail on why certain answers are wrong, and why the correct answer is right. On top of that, it has links to study resources. If you pay for 1 study resource for this exam, let it be the ExSim Max.

As expected, the ExSim exam environment lives up to the hype.

These were very well written. There are some questions that could be considered outdated because they are from the previous CCNP Enterprise, but Cisco also drew some questions from that old pool. Good explanations, but they are a bit too long. Better than being too short. Passed the real exam my first try, despite not passing these the first try. My initial scores were between 600-800 (825 is passing).

I found the exam questions to be much deeper than the exam prep covered.

I used Boson to help me learn and pass my CCNA years ago, and now I find myself back here to work on my CCNP. I feel their offerings are top notch. This is my favorite module from Boson, however, I actually purchased the CCNP/Encore package. This gives you three variations plus a randomizer. You can do study mode or actual test simulation mode. Give yourself time to dedicate daily and you'll be test-ready in no time.

I passed first try, mainly due to how well Boson's explanations of answers are written. I learned a lot reading through the explanations, most of which include the reasons the incorrect answers are incorrect. Don't rely on this to teach you everything, but it does help identify weak areas and fill in the gaps.

Having not bad – all in all explanation – but covers Python only on high level which is not enough for existing exam.

I passed my ENCOR exam today! I leaned heavily on the ExSim-Max to help solidify information on topics, and certain technologies, I did not quite piece together from the OCG. Keep in mind, never only use one resource, however, this is a great first resource to get you on the right track!
