Product Reviews: ExSim-Max for Ethical Hacking

This package helped direct me toward the study topics that I needed to increase my knowledge of the material. Highlighting for me the information gaps that I needed to close to pass CEH and Pentest+ on the first attempt.

I used this as one of a few resources (to include a boot camp purchased from EC Council) to pass my exam on the first attempt. I would purchase this again as a part of a broader strategy. What I liked about this product is the customizable tests for each domain of the test.

The practice exams available from Boson were a near-perfect representation of the actual exam. Taking the tests in practice mode provided fantastic learning resources as to why each answer was correct or incorrect. The wording of the questions as well as which concepts were being tested was spot on. I will definitely use Boson for my other test preps.

I took the CEH exam twice before (using almost every resource I could get for "free", other than the Official Course material that was a part of the University's program/class), and although I was close (within 8% the first time and 3% the second time); I finally broke down and bought Boson's ExSim-Max for Ethical Hacking v11. I think it is an EXCELLENT resource, and well worth the money! I really like that you can take the practice exams to either study (providing explanations of not only why the correct answer is correct, but why the incorrect answers are wrong!) or simulate a "real" exam. In my opinion, the study mode has helped me not only identify and reinforce the things that I do know, but more importantly, the explanations have helped me identify and learn the areas that I am weak in or flat out do not know! Even before I take the exam again, I think this has been the best resource to learn the material (even better than the "official" course material from EC-Council), and I fully expect it to have prepared me more for the CEH exam than anything else; I will be shocked otherwise, and will update this review if that is the case. Regardless, I truly feel it has been the best resource to solidify the CEH information and material.

The material is very nice and very helpful. I loved it

The questions in this ExSim were on-point and helped me pass my exam this past weekend. The explanations were fantastic after each question and the ability to customize the the subjects toward my weakest topics were excellent. I definitely recommend these simulated exams to anyone attempting the exam.
